  "Karen was born in Laramie, Wyoming. She attended school in Ogden, Utah and spent her working life serving others as a registered nurse, a legal nurse consultant, and working with special needs children. She married R. Blanco and later divorced. Together they had two children. In 1976 Karen met and married her soulmate and best friend, Kent Jensen, She enjoyed time with her family, travelling, sports, quilting, gardening, history and reading. Karen and Kent were members of the Arvada Historical Society Book Club for many years. Karen is Survived by her husband Kent, Two Children Lori (Pete) Carter og Michael Blanco, and her sister Sherry (Allan) Hall. She received happiness and love from her grandchildren and great granddaughter."
