- "Ellen (Sabin) Tadken - beloved wife of Donavan L. Tadken, and cherished mother of Craig and Neil Tadken, and Sandy (Tadken) Shaffer - died peacefully in her sleep in the early morning hours of Tuesday, November 30, 2021.
Ellen made every community she lived in better: more welcoming, more gracious, more active - just plain more. Her impact on the lives of those she touched cannot be underestimated. Ellen was a passionate physical education teacher. Upon her retirement, she and Don moved from Ridgefield, CT and built their dream home in Kayenta, Utah. Her relentless energy and service to others earned her the moniker of "Eveready Energy Bunny," by her family because she, "took a lickin' and kept on tickin'." A memorial service is scheduled for Jan. 5, 2022 at noon at the Kayenta Arts Center Theater, 881 Coyote Gulch Ct., Ivins, UT 84738"
