- BLOK-ANDERSEN, Sharon Iris - At the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Wednesday September 7th, 2016, Sharon Iris Blok-Andersen of Chatham at the age of 75 years. Born November 21st, 1940 in Chatham, daughter of the late Douglas and Helen Pole. Wife of the late Uffe Blok-Andersen (2007). Sister of Donald Pole and his wife Jane, their sons Simon and Adam. Sharon was a 4-H Club Member, graduate of CCI, and would later become a piano teacher, and school teacher. She was a champion golfer, businesswoman, and philanthropist. A memorial service will be held on Saturday September 17th at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 81 Selkirk St., Chatham with visiting from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. A reception will follow the service at Rossini's Restaurant, 634 Grand Ave. East, Chatham. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment to take place.
