- "KORSTAD _ Alice 1916 - 2008 It is with deep sadness that the family of Alice Korstad of Calgary announce her sudden passing on Sunday, February 24, 2008, at the age of 92 years. She was predeceased by her husband Harris of fifty-six years. Alice was born and raised in Edberg, Alberta. Harris and Alice farmed at Meeting Creek, Alberta, where they raised their two daughters, Lorraine and Joan. Upon retirement they moved to Calgary. Alice was predeceased by her husband Harris and daughter Loraine Walton. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Joan (Harry) Gogol, grandchildren Wynn (Katherine) Gogol, Kari (Ben) Gogol, Rob (Leesa) Walton, and great-grandson Coray, LaDawne (Kevin) Goodsman and great-grandchildren Merika, Brysen, Rylan, Alice's brother Jim (Mabel) Langmo, and son-in-law Jack (Sharon) Walton."
