  Levned	G7. R. Moses, who as a young man first studied under his grandfather, R. Heschel, in Brest, where he later established his own yeshiva. He was the author of noveliae, Tiferet LeMoshe, published by his grandson in 1776 at Berlin; and also hagalot (glosses) on the Talmud in 1673. He was ABD Grodno and signed at the meeting of the Four Lands at Zulz (1673), Zablodov (1676), Chomsk (1679) and Leczna (1681). He wrote approbations to Migdal David in 1674 at Grodno, and Kench Chochma in 1679 at Chomsk. (Neil Rosenstein: The Unbroken Chain (3rd Edition) Vl.. 3, Ch.9, p. 698).
