- "Rev. Duncan Sherman Ferguson, 72, of Sandusky, went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at his home in Sandusky.
He was born October 10, 1942 in Cass City, Michigan the son of the late Duncan G. and Ella (Sherman) Ferguson.
He was a lifelong resident and a 1963 graduate of Cass City High School.
Duncan married Murial Kay Maynard on October 15, 1966 in Marlette.
He worked for Yale Rubber Co. (Trelleborg) for 30 years, retiring in January of 2009.
Duncan and Murial were on WMIC Radio for 32 years with their Voice of Victory Program.
He earned and became an Ordained Minister in 1989.
He is survived by his wife Muriel,
Sara & John Macha (daughter) of Marlette,
Rebecca & Brett Sayers (daughter) of Fort Gratiot,
Jennifer & Nathan Shephard (daughter) of Kentucky,
Bethany & Kevin Guthard (daughter) of North Carolina,
Matthew Ferguson (son) of Sandusky,
Frank & Jean Ferguson (brother) of Decker,
Archie & Gerry Ferguson (brother) of Kingston,
Donna Ferguson (sister in law) of Marlette,
Hugh & Judy Ferguson (brother) of Marlette,
Ann & Dick Henderson (sister) of Marlette,
9 grandchildren,
Daniel, Leo and Jack Macha, Jeremy, Emily, Zachary, and Abbey Sayers,
Caleb Shephard and Hannah Guthard.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Dugald and George Ferguson.
Visitation will be held at Marsh Funeral Chapel, Sandusky on Tuesday from 1 - 8 PM and on Wednesday at Open Door Missionary Church, Sandusky from 10 - 11 AM
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Open Door Missionary Church, Sandusky.
Pastor Brian Ake will be officiating.
Burial will be in the Juhl Cemetery in Marlette."
