KENOSHA - Diana M. Kramsvogel, 95, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, Monday, January 24, 2022 at her residence.
She was born on September 1, 1926 to the late Laurids and Anna (Ostergaard) Jorgensen in Kenosha. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha.
In 1944 she married George Barnes in Kenosha and later divorced. On October 25, 1946 she married Robert L. Kramsvogel in Kenosha. He preceded her in death on March 20, 1995.
Diana worked as a caster for Regal China from 1972 to 1979. She also ran antique malls in the downtown area.
Diana was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Lutheran Church and was very active. She was a member of the Danish Sisterhood and held the position of Treasurer, a member of the VFW Auxiliary and a member of the Women of the Moose Chapter 155.
Diana was an avid Green Bay Packers fan, enjoyed crafts, traveling and going on annual bus trips, spring break trips and golf outings. Diana was an amazing mother and grandmother.
Diana is survived by her children: Dianne Hegewald, Gail (Michael) Ade and Thomas Kramsvogel; her 14 grandchildren; her 24 great-grandchildren; her 12 great-great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law Vonne Kramsvogel.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Kay (Dennis) Plowman, her son Robert J. Kramsvogel and a sister Mariane Dodge.
Private Services for Diana will be held. A Celebration of Life will be held in the summer. In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated to St. Jude's or to the Danish Sisterhood Rebuilding Fund.
