    "Gerald Ochs, 21, Drops Dead While Dressing for Work.
    Gerald Dwayne Ochs, 21, of 705 Wilson avenue, dropped dead this mornig while dressing to go to work at Wilson & Co. where he is employed. Death was caused by a heart attack.
    The youth was born May 14, 1926, in Albert Lea and attended public schools here. He served in the navy from Sept. 24, 1943, to Jan. 3, 1946.
    Gerald Ochs was a member of the First methodist Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
    He is survived by hs parents, Mr. and Mrs Gerald Ochs of Albert Lea; a grandmother, Mrs. Margaret Peterson, 604 St. Peter street; a brother Clayton, Minneapolis, a sister, Mrs. Don (Chrystal) Crispin, Albert lea; a sister Norma Ochs, St. Paul, and Maryan, Richard, Gayle, David and Thomas, at home.
    Another brother, Keith Ochs, was killed last summer when his navy training plane struck a tree on the Irvin Wayne farm south of Albert Lea.
    Funeral servvices will be held at 2. p.m. Thursday at the First Methodist Church, he Rev, F.V Tannehill officiating, Burial will be in the soldiers lot of Graceland Cemetery.

    "Jerry served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He returned home, and while dressing for work one morning, he collapsed and died of a heart attack. He was 21 years old. He was a loving son and helped the family purchase a home on Wilson Street in Albert Lea. He is much missed." (Gengivet i Findagrave.com)
