"Dorothy Jane Mecham Fieldsted. 1930 ~2013
Our loving sweet mother, sister and grandmother has left this earth to join her Heavenly Father and her parents, husband and youngest son as she journeys to heaven. She leaves behind memories of her musical laughter and the many acts of kindness throughout her devoted life to her family and friends.
Dorothy was born in Holden, Utah, on February 25th, 1930, to William Ernest and Sarah Jane Mecham, the fourth of five children. She grew up in Upalco, Utah, where she graduated from high school and met the love of her life Stan Fieldsted whom she married shortly after they graduated.
Mom loved many things, traveling, taking care of her beautiful yard, playing games with the grand kids and enjoying the great outdoors with her family. She lived in the beautiful Heber Valley for many years surrounded by many who loved her, always creating an inviting meal or stay for all who stopped by. Her favorite pastimes included hopping in the car to take road trips with family or friends and having the adventures of a lifetime with her sister as they toured the west coast many times. She made everyone she came in contact with feel special through her warmth and conversation and always offering a listening ear.
She leaves behind her children: Lonnie (Monica) Fieldsted, Mariposa, CA., Mauna (Todd) Valdez, Midway, UT. and Douglas (Diane) Fieldsted, Mariposa, CA. Also, by her 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She is survived by her sister: Jessie Farnsworth, Boise, ID. and brother Bill (Liz) Mecham, Colorado Springs, CO. She was preceded in death by her husband Stanley and son Keven and two brothers, Leonard Mecham, Ogden, UT. and Morris Mecham, Heber, UT.
We will hold her sweet ways in our hearts, keep her in our memories and miss her until we meet again.
At her request no service will be held. The family will hold a celebration of life in her honor at a later date."

Dorothy blev gift med Stanley Erickson Fieldsted den 23 aug. 1948. Stanley (søn af William Taylor Fieldsted og Annie Velma Erickson) blev født den 24 okt. 1928 i Duchesne, Utah, USA; døde den 2 jun. 2005 i Salt Lake, Utah, USA; blev begravet den 6 jun. 2005 i Wasatch, Utah, USA. "Keven Fieldsted passed away on Sunday, Aug. 9, 2009, due to an accident at Defa's Ranch.
Born Sept. 12, 1955, in Salt Lake City to Stanley Erickson and Dorothty Jay Mecham Fieldsted. Keven loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, boating, hiking. He loved to play pool and was president of the Heber Pool League for years. He was in the vinyl fencing business and ran his own company, Deer Creek Investment, which his father Stnstarted. Keven was a great piece of all our lives and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He is in a better place, but the world won't be as bright without him.
Survived by wife Tawnya R. Fieldsted; children, Andrea, Terrin and Erickson Fieldsted; step-children, Beau (Ashley) Justin (Britney), Austin (Larissa) and Casey Rutledge; mother Dorothy Fieldsted; brothers Lonnie (Monica) and Doug (Diane) Fieldsted; sister Mauna (Todd) Valdez; grandchildren Easton, Damion, Drey and Makis. Preceded in death by his father, Stan Fiedsted.
A celebration of Keven's life will be held for family and friends at Defa's Dude Ranch, Aug 15, from 12 noon - 3 p.m. ..."
