    Nekrolog:
"Flora Allred, age 83, of Roosevelt, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the Uintah Basin Rehabilitation and Sr. Villa.
Flora Fieldsted Allred, age 83, was born in Roosevelt, Utah on August 5, 1930 to William Taylor and Annie Velma Erickson Fieldsted. She grew up in Boneta on the family farm with 3 brothers.
She graduated from Altamont High School and married her eternal sweetheart, Thomas Lyle Allred on June 20, 1948 and they were sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 21, 1965. Tom passed away at age 46 leaving mom to be without him for the next 38 years. He died November 23, 1975.
Flora retired from Utah Colorado Gas Company and opened the Children's Den Clothing store in Roosevelt and later Granny's Gift Gallery.
After a dear friend, Nona Rasmussen passed away she cared for and helped raise her children. What a blessing they were to her during that difficult time.
Mom always had a wonderful yard and could make a beautiful floral arrangement from anything, roses or sage brush, it didn't matter. She made many bridal bouquets for young brides getting married. She loved keeping busy with her hands by crocheting, embroidering and quilting. No one made a better loaf of bread or steamed carrot pudding with caramel sauce or the grand kids favorite, homemade ice cream.
She loved to go rock hunting and camping and being in the outdoors with dad and her family.
She was Volunteer of the Year for Roosevelt City and instrumental in raising funds for the 6th east traffic light project. She was acknowledged more than once for her beautiful yard.
Mom spent a terrible year battling cancer and beating it.
She loved her Family Home Evening ladies for their friendship and support and look forward to meeting each week.
Mom had a strong testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ especially the power of prayer and comforting influence of a Priesthood Blessing which got her through many difficult times.
Health issues slowed her down in her later years but she could always spoil her grand kids and great grand kids with treats and goodies. Her family was her main focus and reason to continue this journey.
She is survived by 2 children, Diane (Dean) Brough, Roosevelt; and Thomas L. (Julie) Allred, West Valley City, 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grand children, and brother, Harry Fieldsted, Altamont.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom, her parents, Bill and Velma Fieldsted and 2 brothers, Stanley and Robert Fieldsted.
A very special THANK YOU to Parkside Manor the past 2 years for their patience and companionship and "The Villa" the last 2 weeks for their loving care and concern.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 12 Noon at the Roosevelt East Stake Center, 502 North 600 East.
A viewing will be held that morning from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m.
Burial in the Roosevelt Memorial Park." (Gengivet i Findagrave.com)
