    Richard “Dick” B. Lyons. January 20, 1941 ~ December 31, 2015
    Our special husband, dad, grandfather and friend, passed away on December 31, 2015 surrounded by most of his family while enjoying the great outdoors in Yellowstone.
    Dick was born January 20, 1941 in Provo, Utah. He spent his younger years in Mountain Home, Utah. He graduated from Orem High School. He married his best friend and beautiful wife, Geraldine, on November 7, 1964.
    Dick joined the Elks Organization in 1966 and has held numerous local, state and national positions, the last being Special Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler, helping all the Elks lodges in Utah. During his years in the Elks he made many friends all over the country.
    Dad enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, spending time with his family and friends, and spending time in the great outdoors.
    He is survived by his wife, Geraldine of Plain City; son, Rich (Krista) of Liberty; daughter, Jessica (Rusty) Hardy of Plain City; a brother, Kim (Kathy) of Eagle CO; three sisters: Lynn Lyons, Betty Jo (Robert) Stewart, Evanston, WY and Peg (Buzz) Shiner, Natarita, CO; nine nieces and nephews and four grandchildren.
    A viewing will be held at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd on Friday, January 8, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Provo Elks Lodge, 1000 S. University Ave, Provo, Utah. Prior to services there will be a viewing from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the Provo Elks Lodge.
    Interment will be at the East Lawn Memorial Hills in Provo.
    In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made in the name of Richard B. Lyons to the Elks National Foundation, Utah Benevolent Elks Trust, or the George Whalen Veterans Home in Farr West, Utah.
