"Dale Glen Larsen, 74, of Las Vegas, died Oct. 19, 2005. He was born April 18, 1931, in Centerfield, Utah, and was a resident of Las Vegas for 21 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and served in the Korean War. Dale is survived by his wife, of 45 years, Orial Dawn Larsen; son, Dale Glen Larsen, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Jami L. Harrington; and brothers, Evan and Roger Larsen and families. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Roberta Larsen; brother, Darvell Larsen; and sister, Sharon Nelson. He was an active member in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and worked in the community helping where he could. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Missionary Fund or Humanitarian Fund of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., on the corner of Jones and Oakey. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel, 6100 Alta Drive, on the corner of Alta and Jones, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City."
