"...Born Raphael Raymond Miller on Sept 17, 1928, in Hope to Joseph and Alice (Skalicky) Miller. Ray was a member of the graduating class of 1946 at Owatanna High School. He married Mary Ellen Norgaard on Oct 25, 1952 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church at Litomysl. Ray farmed all his life in rural Steel County. While farming the couple raised five children. Ray was a member of the Grandfathers Club, Ssomerset Township Board, life member of HolyTrinity Church at Litomysl, served on the school board in Hope. His life interests includes fishing, collecting guns and spending time with his family.
Ray is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Ellen of Hope; son Dan (Karen Miller of Owatonna; daughters-in-law Dawn Miller of Owatonna and Marissa Miller of Clarksville, Tenn.; daughters, Judy Miller of Alden,Linda (Jay) Hernantez of New Richland; six grandchildren, sisters Zanobia (Bob) Dusek of Tuscon, Ariz., Lucille Olson of Faribault, and Joyce Granowski of Owataonna. Ray is preceded in Death by his parents, sons, Tom in 1998, and Dale in 2003 ..." (med foto)

"Dale Joseph Miller, 47, of Owatonna, died suddenly on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2023, at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester.
He was born Dec. 1, 1955, in Owatonna, the son of Raphael and Mary (Norgaard) Miller. Dale graduated from Owatonna High School in 1973. He then worked for OTC/Power Team for more than 20 years. After this he became the owner/operator of Mailboxes Etc. (now UPS), and had locations in Owatonna and in Rochester. He also owned Specialized Courier Services,
Dale was a hard worker. He enjoyed motorcycles, his vintage Corvette and spending time with his family and Friends.
Dale is survived by his wife Dawn of Owatonna, his parents Raphael and Mary Ellen Miller of Owatonna, his sons, Nicholas Miller and Brandon Miller of Owatonna; his brother Danny and Karen Miller of Owatonna; his sister Judy Miller of Alden, his sister Linda and Jay Hernandez of Owatonna; his sister-in-law Marissa Miller of Clarksville, and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother Thomas Miller.
... Funeral services will be held Monday Nov 24, 2003, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Chuch in Owatonna. The Rev. Paul Nelson will be officiating. There will be a private family burial."

"Thomas Raphael Miller of Clarksville Tenn. died of an apparent heart atteack on April 23, 1998, at Clarksville Memorial Hospital in Clarksville Tenn. He was 39.
Thomas Miller was born April 23, 1959 at Owatonna, son of Raphael and mary Ellen (Norgaard) Miller.
He graduated from Owatonna High School in 1977. He was a retired Chief Mechanist Mate in the Navy, and lead coach for Bridgestone Metelpha USA Inc. He was vice president of the Philippines American Association.
Mr. Miller is survived by his parents of Hope; wife Marisa Miller of Clarksville; two daughters, Sheena and Julie Ann Miller of Clarksville; two brothers, Daniel (and Karen) Miller of Medford, Dale (and Dawn) Miller of Owatonna; two sites, Judy Mller of Austin, and Linda (and Jay) Hernandez of Owatonna.
A military memorial mass will be held at 10.30 a.m. Saturday June 6, 1998, at Holy Trinity Church in Litomyal. The Rev Hubert Boschert will officiate.
Mr Miller was cremated and there will be no visitation. Burial will take place in the church cemetery following the memorial service" (med foto).
