The bethrothal was celebrated in Hamburg and the marriage was arrangd for a year later. When the time of the wedding, which was to take place in Copenhagen, approached, I got ready to attend it, together with my son Nathan ... I journeyed together with Joseph to the wedding ... I left Hamburg together with the bridegroom and Moses the son of Meyer Stadthagen, the son in law of reb Chaim Cleve .... the wedding was celebrated with joy and good spirits and to the satisfaction of both sides."
