- "Tom was the 6th son of 10 children, all born at home, to George and Beathe (Petersen) Ochs. He enlisted in the US Air Force, and after 5 years of active duty, worked at Warner Robins Air Force Base as an F-15 technician until his retirement. He married the love of his life, Anise Brown, 1963, and they had two sons, Michael Keith Ochs, and Samuel Kerry Ochs. Of the 6 Ochs male children, 3 brothers served in WW II (Clayon, Keith, Gerald), and Thomas and brother David served in peace time. (Findagrave)
"Mr. Ochs was born on July 17, 1938 in Albert Lea, Minnesota. He retired after 34 years of service at Robins Air Force Base as an F-15 Technician. He was a five year veteran of the United States Air Force and was a thirty-five member of the Blockhouse Hunting Club. He was also an avid golfer, fisherman, and hunter. His parents, George Ochs and Beatha Ochs, and siblings, Jerry Ochs, Keith Ochs, Norma Bue, Marian Hogue, and Crystal Ebeling, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 45 years, Anise B. Ochs, Haynesville; sons, Michael Keith (Denna) Ochs , Macon, and Samuel Kerry (Kimberly) Ochs, Tampa, FL; brothers, Clayton (Barbara) Ochs, New Brighton, MN, David (Joy) Ochs, Starr, TX, and Richard (Barbara) Ochs, Albert Lea, MN; sister, Gayle (Paul) Olsen, Albert Lea, MN; granddaughter, Karsen Ochs; special son, Steve (Martie) Chatham, and their children, Katie and Brian, Dallas, GA.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 6, 2007 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 in Trinity United Methodist Church with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Dr., Warner Robins, Georgia 31088. "
