- "Helen K. Richardson, 58, 1965 Whalebone Drive, died in Kalispell December 18. She was born August 15, 1923 in Morristown, South Dakota, the daughter of John Ray and Mary Ann Kelly. She and her family moved to the Flathead Valley where she attended the Flathead County High School. On February 13, 1944, she married Norbert Richardson in Vancouver, Washington. She had been employed in the shipyards there during World War II. The couple returned to the Flathead Valley after the war and have lived here since. Richardson is survived by her husband, a daughter, Linda Martin of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada; three brothers, Maurice, Marland, and Charles Kelly all of Kalispell; four sisters, Fern Lee of Darby, Bernice Cook and Arlene Vinje both of Kalispell, and Patsy Whitney of Grand Coulee, Washington."
