  "Anna Bjerke, 90, of 932 S. Blaie Ave. died Sunday in Sioux Valley Hospital. Anna Sorensen was born Aug 10, 1894 in Denmark. She came to the Brookins area as a young lady and lived there until her marriage to Melvin Bjerge on Aug 10, 1917 in Volga. They farmed near Volga for a short time until movin to Sious Falls in 1918. Her husband died Dec 14, 1961 She was a charter member of East Side Lutheran Church. survivors include three sons: Kenneth, Brainers, Minn; Marvin, Sious Falls; and Gordon, San Diego, Calif.; two daughters: Mrs. Myra Mofle and Mrs. Floyd (Viola) Olsen, both of Sious Falls; 17 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a Brother, George, Minneapolis, Minn. Services will be begin at 10:30 a.m Wednesday in East Side Lutheran church. Burial will be in Hills of Rest Memorial Park ..." (Gengivet i Findagrave.com)
