- "NIELSEN, Schou, 98, of Tequesta, FL, formerly of Sun City Center, FL and Bergenfield, NJ, died peacefully on October 21, 2014. He was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, and came to the US in 1937. He was a WW2 US Army veteran, and a business executive who served as a Director on the boards of a number of US and foreign corporations. He attended Redeemer Lutheran Church in Sun City Center, FL, since its founding in 1979, until moving to Tequesta this year. For many years he volunteered on the Sun City Center Emergency Squad and Security Patrol. Schou is survived by Solveig, 88, his beloved wife of 63 years, as well as son Eric and wife Mary, of San Jose, CA, and son Peter and wife Linda, of Jupiter, FL. Schou leaves three married grand-children, Jesse (Jennifer), Christopher (Catherine) and Samuel (Kirby); as well as five great-grandchildren, Penelope, Grover, Grant, Madison and McKinley."
