- "Wilma Searson of Omaha, NE, formally of Hastings, NE passed away on March 2, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Anna Lykke, brother Elmer Lykke and husband, Earl Searson and daughter-in-law, Margy Schneider. She is survived by son Greg Searson, son and daughter-in-law Tom and Jeanette Searson, and grandchildren: Tom L and Mike Searson, Stephanie McGowan, and Jay and Todd Searson, and sister Dorothy Post of Amarillo, Texas. She was born on Jan 20, 1920 in Grand Island, NE. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper and secretary in Hastings, NE where she lived from 1945 until the middle 1980's. She was enthusiastic about Lutheran theology, travel, church activities, bridge and crossword puzzles. She and her husband moved to Omaha in the middle 1980's. They traveled a great deal in the first 15 years of their retirement within North America. Her body was donated to science. The family would like to thank the dedicated caregivers at Immanuel Lighthouse. Memorials are suggested to Presbyterian Church of the Cross in Omaha or Planned Parenthood."
