  Nekrolog	"Services for Clifford L. Johnson, 82 of Fremont and formerly of Scribner, who died September 14, 1993 at his home are 2 p.m. Thursday, September 16 at the Fremont Alliance Church. Rev. Eddie Masters is officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in Fremont. Clifford L. Johnson was born February 9, 1911 at Pueblo, Colorado. He moved to the Arlington area in 1912 and attended Bisbee School until age 15 when he began farming to support his family. He moved to California and in 1935 was a night watchman at Sears Roebuck & Co. He returned to Nebraska and moved to Scribner where he farmed. He retired in 1987 and moved to Fremont. He was a lifetime member of the Fremont Alliance Church and served several years on the church board. He was a former 4-H leader and worked at the Scribner Fair. He married Beulah I. Gutschow May 20, 1933 at Spirit Lake, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ellen Larson Johnson; a brother, Emil and a sister, Huldah Lunstedt. He is survived by his wife, Beulah; two sons, Robert A. Johnson of Scribner and Richard Johnson of Fremont; two daughters, Ellen (Mrs. Dennis) Hansen of O’Neill, Nebraska and Jacqueline (Mrs. John) Cosseboom of Fremont; a brother, Gilbert Johnson of Glendale, California; a sister, Minnie Rasmussen of Glendale; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. ..."
