- Margaret A. Braesch, 83 years, of Fremont, NE, formerly of Arlington, NE died Monday, October 20, 2014 at A.J. Merrick Manor in Fremont, NE.
Margaret was born November 12, 1930 in Blair, NE, to Fredrick and Edith (Thaden) Puls. She grew up on a farm near Kennard, NE and was a graduate of Bennington High School. Margaret married Delbert D. Braesch on May 25, 1952 at St. John's Lutheran Church at Bennington. The couple lived at Elkhorn, NE until 1954 and then lived at Bennington, NE until moving to Arlington, NE in 1958. Delbert died December 28, 2003. Margaret worked at the former K-Mart in Fremont and at Valmont Industries at Valley, NE and also did babysitting for many years.
Margaret was a member of the Arlington Community Church, U.C.C. and the women's organization at the church.
She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Cindi Braesch of Fremont, NE, Robert and Leanne Braesch of Grand Island, NE and Bryan and Luzviminda Braesch of San Diego, CA; daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Pete Rix of Fremont; sister, Kathleen Puls of Fremont; 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Funeral service will be 11:30 AM, Thursday, at the Arlington Community Church, U.C.C. in Arlington. The Rev Penny Greer will officiate. Visitation on Wednesday from 3 PM to 8 PM with family receiving friends from 6 PM until 8 PM at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont and on Thursday at church 1 hr prior to service. Burial will be in the German Cemetery, north of Bennington, NE. Memorials may be given to the Arlington Community Church and to the American Cancer Society." (Gengivet i Findagrave.com)
