  "Services for James Marion Stricklett, 93, who died Saturday, August 23, 1986 at the Blair Memorial Community Hospital, will be held Tuesday, August 26, 2 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home. Rev. Donna Durrette will officiate and burial will be in the Blair Cemetery. Stricklett was born February 14, 1893, the son of Turner and Edna Stricklett of Mills county, Iowa. He married Anna K. Nielsen on February 20, 1918 in Omaha. Stricklett was a custodian for the Blair Post Office for many years. He was a World War I veteran, serving from April 1918 to February 1919. He lived at Good Shepherd Home in Blair at the time of his death. Survivors include one brother, Ray Gillett of Blair. Pallbearers will be Howard Hoier, Earl Hoier, Dale Stricklett, Ernie Stricklett, Wendell Homes, and Paul McDonald."
