- " James "Jim" Henry Street passed away peacefully at the age of 65, April 19, 2006 at his home in Saint George, Utah. He was born February 14, 1941 in Mountain Home, Utah to Ivan Miles and Lola Justine Fieldsted Street. He married Janis Beal March 16, 1960; and were later divorced. They had three children, Dale, Cindy and Ricky. Jim grew up in Mountain Home and graduated from Altamont High School in 1959. He worked for 36 years at W.W. Clyde from 1962-1998 as a Construction Supervisor. He retired from the Operating Engineers in 1998, where he gave many years of great service. In 1999 he began working for the Borax Mine in Boran, California as a Supervisor, where he was employed at the time of his death. He worked so hard and loved what he did, and had many friends and co-workers who were so important to him in his life. There are not many words to describe just how unselfish and giving he was, and how many lives he has touched throughout his life. He was a great friend to many people. His love for cars was unbelievable. At the time of his death, he was working on restoring a 1929 "Model A" of which he was so proud. He loved his home in St. George, Utah where he was residing, and worked so hard to make his yard look so perfect. He loved spending time with his family and was always so fun to be around, with a great sense of humor. He is survived by his children, Dale and Cara Street, Cindy Shiner; grandchildren, Landon and Skyler Street, Rikki Shiner. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, George Max and Ivan Dee Street; and his son Ricky Street; and grandson, Jake Shiner. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at the Moon Lake LDS Ward chapel in Mountain Home, Utah. A visitation Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary, 457 E. 300 N. Roosevelt, Utah and an hour prior at the church. Family and friends are all welcome. Interment, Mountain Home, Utah Cemetery."
