- "Shelby D. Taylor left the arms of his sweetheart and entered into the rest of our Savior, November 7, 2010 in Lehi, Utah. Born June 6, 1930 in Duchesne, Utah to John Moroni Taylor and Caroline Pearl Tanner, he was the eighth of 12 children. He married Maurine Rowley, they were later divorced. He married his sweetheart Letha Colledge on February 14, 1975. He was part owner in Mountain States Fence Company but his greatest enjoyment and lifelong occupation was farming and helping others. He served in several callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, every Wednesday for the past 28 years he and Letha faithfully served in the temple. He is survived by a large blended family, Ione (Thomas) Chilton, Douglas, Don (Diane), Carol (Dick) Prescott, Cherlynn (Bill) Hoyt, Ken (Laurie) Curtis, Dan (Mary) Curtis, Lynette (Warren) Huber, brother Preston (Barbara) Taylor, sisters Coleene Justice and Allie Brown. Preceded in death by David and Roy Curtis. Lovingly known as Grandpa Taylor to 37 grandchildren and 67 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Willow Creek Ward LDS Chapel, 1929 West 1500 North, Lehi. ... Interment, Lehi City Cemetery."
