- "Billie K. Draper, 71, passed away in his sleep at the L.D.S. Hospital on November 27, 2003, after a long illness. He was born on February 21, 1932, to Howard J. and Gladys Draper in Mt. Pleasant, UT. He married Sandra Kaye Hitchcock on January 30, 1960 in Salt Lake City. They were sealed in the Logan Temple on February 15, 1974.
He served in the Korean War. He worked at the Lake Crystal Salt Plant for 13 years and Thiokol for 18 years. They didn't have any children but many wonderful nephews and nieces. He enjoyed fishing and square dancing. He won lots of blue ribbons for his art work and handwork.
He is survived by his wife; sisters: Carolyn (Bill) Bolton, Atholeen (Loyd) Larsen, Loise (Mike) Isaksson, June Butcher; sister-in-law, Sheila Taylor and brother-in-law, Michael Hitchcock. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, one brother, and mother and father-in-law.
Funeral services will be held on December 4, at 2 p.m at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah. .... Interment will be at Redwood Memorial Cemetery.
