  "James Christian Nielsen, 84, Centerfield mayor and town marshal, 18 years, died Monday at 1:10 a.m., at his residence of natural causes. Mr. Nielsen ws a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Daints and a blacksmith. He was born April 3, 1980, in Wittrup, Denmark, a son of Neils Peter and Karen Marie Beck Nielsen. He married Mary Ethel Fieldsted Aug 24, 1910, Manti. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. She died. Survivors include a son and daughters, Edgar C., Mrs. Boyd (Marjorie) Whitlock, both Centerfield; Mrs. George (Grace) Jackson Tooele; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; Mrs. Petra Steffin, Van Nuys, Calif; Mrs. Nina Hansen, Omaha, Neb. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Centerfield Ward Chapel ... Burial will be in Centerfield Cemetery.
