She never remarried, and worked very hard to support her family. She had many struggles through out her life, she had a son that had many mental problems and she was there for him, and she always took care of him. She never turned her back on her kids. She was a very strong person, she always told her family we came from strong stock. I never heard my Grandmother talk or gossip or say a mean word about anyone. She took care of her Mother and 2 brothers till their deaths, she was a very giving person. She loved holidays with her kids and grandkids, always making candy and Christmas dinners for her family. She always taught us a penny saved is a penny earned. She loved to crochet, and made many afghans for family and friends. She made quilts for her grandchildren, and she was an avid reader.
