  "Vernon Alroy Sprague, 74, of Missoula, died of cancer Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Nov 21 1910 in Otto, Wyo, to Alroy and Martha Sprague. He grew up in the Otto and Worland, Wyo. areas. On July 18, 1929, he married Jennie M. Beck in Basin. During World War II the couple lived in Utah and California where Mr. Sprague worked in the shipyards. Following the was thet returned to Worland and Mr. Sprague worked as a painting contractor. He then worked for 13 years in california before he and his wife retired and moved to Missoula nine years ago. He was a member of the Third Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ og latter Day Saints in Missoula. He was preceded in death by four brothers. Survivors include his wife Jennie, Missoula, two Sons. Gary Sprague, Concord Calif, and John Irving Sprague, Sundance Wyo. three daughters. Verna Busch, Hillsboro N.D. Karen Jones, Phoenix Ariz. and Jackie Dwyer, Spokane. Two brothers Kenneth Sprague, Dickinson N.D. and Lawrence Sprague, Los Osos Calif. three sisters, Fawn Rahn, Castro Valley, Calif, Edna Christianson, Pittsburg Calif, and Myrl Abernathy, Casper Wyo. 18 Grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at the Churc of jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Cleveland Street ..." (nekrolog gengivet i Findagrave)
