- Linda Brown Lundstrom, age 76, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2020 in Heber City, Utah.
Linda, along with her twin brother, Lisle G Brown, were born on October 15, 1943 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Lisle Grant and Jenny Lind Myrup Brown.
She grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah and graduated from South High School. She met the love of her life, Day Nicholas Lundstrom in 1962 and they were married and sealed for eternity in the Salt Lake Temple May 31, 1963. They spent 57 wonderful years together and had many outdoor adventures.
Linda was an extraordinarily kind and giving person. Everyone who knew her loved her. She had so many talents that she enjoyed sharing with her family and the community. She loved birds and was a very active birdwatcher. There were countless times the family car had to stop because there was a bird on the fence post. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crafts of every kind, cooking, gardening and spending time with her family, who meant the most to her.
Among numerous other jobs, her most recent was for the Duchesne County Chamber where she worked for over 15 years and loved being in and helping the community that she loved.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved her Savior. Her testimony of the Gospel was particularly important to her. She served in numerous callings and truly emanated being a disciple of Christ in everything she did.
She is survived by her husband; her children Catherine (Kert) Christensen, Ryan Lundstrom, Melinda (and the late Jason) Sims. She was blessed to have 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren with one expected in July; her brother Philip M (Mary) Brown and sister-in-law Merry Janet Brown. She was preceded in death by her son Lisle, son-in-law Jason, her parents, her sister Norine, her twin brother Lisle and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 12, 2020 at 10:00 am at the Crossroads Senior Center, 50 East 200 South, Roosevelt, Utah.
Interment will be at the Roosevelt Memorial Park
