- "Rosalind Olsen Flynn (Rose) was born in Provo, Utah on September 11, 1934, the daughter of Don and Eloise Olsen.
She married Jack Christian Flynn on November 20, 1954 at the Wee Kirk O' the Heather marriage chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
She loved her babies and was a wonderful mother to her eight children: Debby, Kelly, Kevin, Kathleen, Michael, Shannon, Sean, and Patrick, whom she raised in seven different states.
Even though her ancestors came from Norway and Denmark, she said that the day she met Jack she became Irish.
She loved animals and bred Irish Setters and nursed many dogs and cats back to health. She had a green thumb and could make anything grow.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack, and sons, Kelly and Michael. She is survived by her children, Debby Bruni (Ray), Kevin Flynn (Becky), Kathleen Flynn, Shannon Flynn, Sean Flynn (Cynthia), and Patrick Flynn (Betsy); twenty-two grandchildren; and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday September 10, 2014 in the Holladay Memorial Park Cemetery, 4900 Memory Lane, Holladay.
