  Nekrolog	"Mrs. Augusta M. Mortensen, 59, a resident of Iron Mountain for the past 48 years, died at 7:45 this morning at Pinecrest Sanatorium, following several months’ illness from Pneumonia & Pleurisy. She would have been 60 years old on the forthcoming Christmas Eve. In 1880, she moved to Iron Mountain& has resided her continuously. Mr. Mortensen died 1913 & until a few months ago she had lived with her son, Leo, at 610 West B Street. Following the latter’s marriage, she retained her residence with another son, James. These are her only 2 surviving sons. Also surviving are a brother, William Jacobsen, employed at the Chapin Iron Mine & living here & Paul, the proprietor of Jacobsen Pharmacy, Norway, Mich. Interment will be in Cemetery Park. (December 18, 1928, Iron Mountain Press newspaper, Dickinson, Michigan.)
