  BUFFALO GROVE - Darlene S. Clarke, 59, died Saturday November 26, 2016 at Alexian Brothers Hospital in Elk Grove Village, IL. The former Darlene Sherry Bless was born in Arlington Heights, IL on May 26, 1957 the daughter of the late Warren and Bernice (Christ) Bless. She was a graduate of Arlington High School in Arlington Heights. On April 30, 1989 in Arlington Heights she was united in marriage to Peter C. Clarke. Darlene was a devout Christian and an active member of Faith Lutheran Church in Arlington Heights. She was a truly passionate American patriot. She was a loving, forgiving and compassionate mother and friend; she will be greatly missed. Darlene is survived by: Peter, her husband of 27 years, 2 sons; Chris and Martin both of Buffalo Grove, IL, 2 sisters; Jacquelyn (Roger) Berndt of Branson, MO and Dawn Hanson of Cleveland, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents. Private family graveside services will be held in Lake Geneva, WI. (Daily Herald on Nov. 30, 2016).
