Born August 28, 1945, to Percy and Ruth Fraser, Barbara was a past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Bellaire, Michigan Chapter. She was the loving wife of Douglas Dixon and beloved mother to Jeffrey and Bruce Dixon. She also enjoyed the company of Wayne Leveritt during his time on earth. Her hobbies included playing shuffleboard and gardening. She was an avid reader, enjoyed her teapot collection and cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, of who, brought her much joy.
Barbara is survived by her sons, Jeff Dixon and Bruce (Christy Means), sister-in-law, Margie Fraser, grandchildren Zoe, Ellie, and Devan (Kayla) and great-grandchildren, Maverick and Lukas. As well as her nephew Paul (Bree) Fraser and their children. Preceding her in death was her husband, Douglas Dixon, brother, Kenneth Fraser, and sisters-in-law Mildred Newsom and Evelen Weatherington.").
