- "FENGER Joan Florence passed away peacefully at Berwick House on Sunday, April 25, 2004. She was predeceased by her greatest love, Johannes, in 1977. She was much loved and will be sadly missed by her son, Nick, and daughter-in-law, Jean, also her three grandchildren, David (Aleta), Mark (Claudia) and Diana (Kim) Lewall. At Joan's request, there will be a private family service. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the B.C. Cancer Foundation."
