  "Paul Karl Voelxen III, 31, of Quincy and East Sandwich passed away unexpectedly on June 1, 2016 due to complications from substance abuse. He was the beloved son of James and Suzanne Voelxen. Paul graduated from Barnstable High School class of 2003. He worked in construction in the Boston area for D.W. White of Attleboro. Paul loved outdoor activities including spending time on Cape Cod enjoying the beaches and friends, camping and boating in the Adirondack Mountains, spending time and hiking in the mountains of Vermont, and riding his dirt bike. He also loved spending time with his dog Jax, in particular walking on the beach and park at Bare Cove in Hingham with his wonderful girlfriend Melissa whom he loved very much and hoped to marry. In addition to his parents James and Suzanne, Paul is survived by his sister Kimberly Cormier, her husband Jeffrey and recently born niece Olivia of Paxton, MA, his grandmother Helen Voelxen of Boynton Beach, FL, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins."
