42928 | Services for Ricky Ray Remund, 42, were Thursday, Dec. 27, 2001, at Wilmot Lutheran Church in Wilmot, S.D. Pastor Clare Wadsworth officiated and interment was in the Wilmot Cemetery. Pallbearers were Michael and Eric Warren, Brandon, Lance and Tony Remund, Patrick Zenk and Chris Young. Visitation was Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2001, at Iten Funeral Home in Delano. A prayer service took place with Pastor Paul Krentz of Watertown officiating. Mr. Remund was born July 24, 1959, in Milbank, S.D., to Norma and Donald Remund. He was the youngest of five children. He was a manager for Tradehome Shoe Co. in Watertown, S.D., and in Pierre, S.D. He married Twila Ellwanger of Pierre June 7, 1985. They resided in Pierre and Spearfish, S.D., where they owned and operated the Watershed Store. In 1991, he moved with his wife and family to the Minneapolis area where he accepted a position as a sales representative with the Combine Insurance Co. For the past eight years, Mr. Remund was employed at Mystic Lake Casino in Prior Lake as a technical specialist. He is survived and sadly missed by wife, Twila; daughters, Brandi, Bridget, Britney and Brooke; parents, Donald and Norma Remund of Wilmot, S.D.; sisters, Betty (Bruce) Zenk of Burnsville and Luanne (Larry) Warren of Clark, S.D.; brothers, Jerry (Mavis) Remund of Pipestone and Lonny (Norine) Remund of Woodbury and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins throughout Minnesota and South Dakota. | Remund, Rick Ray (I15933)

42929 | Services were held at the Megrue Funeral Home Saturday, Sept. 15 for Mrs. Margrete Frederiksen, who died Monday, Sept. 10. Rev. Robert Leege was the officiating clergyman. The following obituary was read at the services: Mrs. Margrete Frederiksen was born April 1, 1875, in Aalburg, Denmark, the daughter of Andrew and Johanna Andersen. Her early years were spent in her native land. Here, in infancy, she received the sacrament of baptism. In her youth, she was confirmed in the Lutheran Church. In 1897 she was united in marriage with Chris Frederiksen. In 1907 she came with her family and her parents to America, settling near Abdal, Nuckolls County, Nebraska. In 1932, the family moved to the Hardy area, where they continued to live until the death of Mr. Frederiksen in 1948. Since that time Mrs. Frederiksen made her home in Superior. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Margrete Frederiksen departed this life Monday, Sept. 10, 1962, having attained the age of 87 years, five months, and nine days. 42946 | She married Anton Lenard Juhl 27 Dec 1893 in in Marlette, Sanilac Co, MI. She was 25 when she married, and was the mother of two children, both living. She died of Albuminuria, a pathological condition wherein albumin is present in the urine, following childbirth. She was 32 years old. She was born 21 May 1868 in Canada to parents who had immigrated there from Scotland. Their names were James Pattie and Ellen McLeishe. She was buried on 1 June 1900 in the Elmer Cemetery. Here husband, Anton Juhl signed. Her children are: 1) James Lenard Juhl born 23 Sept. 1895 in Juhl and died 16 July 1942 in Detroit. He was buried in the Acacia Park Masonic Memorial cemetery in Birmingham, Michigan. He died in the Harper hospital in Detroit of a cerebral hemmorage. His wife was Dora Hubbel Juhl and they married in July of 1922. His son James and two daughters Nancy and Beverly were still living at home at the time of his death.
