It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of TERRANCE SOLOMONSON. He was a beloved father, brother, son and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Born in Stettler, Alberta on December 3rd 1950 Terry lived most of his life in Lethbridge and passed peacefully after a battle with cancer while residing at St. Michael’s Care Center on January 1st 2017. A modest man, Terry spent his life being kind to everyone he met and giving what he could to those in need. He was the friend that cheered for the Flames with friends even though he was an avid Oilers fan (provided they weren’t playing each other). Even in the hardest months of his life Terry refused to give up and spent several of his days at home with his daughter Jennie and many of his family and friends; he will be fondly remembered by the huge grin on his face and the genuine kindness in his heart. Terrance was predeceased by his parents Walter and Victoria Solomonson, sister Christina, and brother-in-law Dennis. He leaves behind his loving daughters Jennie (Evan) and Candace, his siblings Wesley (Joanne), David, Dianna, Leona (Doug), and Trudy as well as many nieces and nephews. | Solomonson, Terrance Dale (I15891)

2542 | "Jack Christian Flynn, loving husband, father, and friend, left us to rejoin his Father in Heaven and his first born son Jack Kelly, whose death preceded his. He passed away on February 16, 2009 due to complications caused by diabetes. He was born March 28, 1936 to Barney and Ila Flynn in Nevada City, CA. Growing up in Salt Lake City, he excelled in every sport he undertook, and won many trophies at the old Elks Boys Club. He attended South High School, where in 1954 "Jackie" met and married his sweetheart, Rosalind Olsen, daughter of the prominent Utah artist, and concert-violinist for the Utah Symphony, Donald Olsen. He spent much of their early years of marriage in the US Army, where after five years, he reached the rank of sergeant and was honorably discharged. He was always grateful for his years of service, as much of his future success was due to his electronics training in the Army. He was especially proud of his civilian work as a radar technician at Cape Canaveral during NASA's Gemini project. His military service and employment in the electronics industry took him to all parts of the country where his children were born in five different states, including Arizona, where he completed a college degree. He finally led his family back to Salt Lake where he spent the latter part of his life and completed his career in the computer sales industry. Having a successful career and being a top salesman wasn't enough. He still found time to write books, act in and write plays, and even compose, sing, and record a country music album. He was a man of deep faith, who voluntarily served in many positions in his church, including Sunday School teacher, and Scoutmaster. He will always be remembered for being a dynamic, outgoing, ultra competitive individual who never gave up an easy lay-up or passed up an opportunity to foul hard. He loved to dance and was always the first one on the dance floor. However, he was at his best, while with his children playing basketball and tennis, hiking, running rivers, watching Jazz basketball, or rooting for his favorite football teams; Notre Dame, and the University of Utah. Always very proud of his Irish heritage, he instilled that pride in his children and led them annually in the Salt Lake City St. Patrick's Day Parade. Jack is survived by his wife, Rosalind, their daughters Debby Bruni (Ray), Kathleen Steck (Randy), and Shannon; their sons Kevin (Becky), Michael (Lisa), Randy (Kami), Sean (Cynthia) and Patrick (Betsy); 38 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; his brother Gerald and sisters Bonnie and Ilene. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Holladay Memorial Park at 4900 South Memory Lane (access from 4800 South, East of the former Cottonwood Mall), followed by an Irish wake to celebrate his life, at the LDS gym at 5913 South Highland Drive. Ray Robinson house on Bear Creek Drive. Jack married the love of his life, Mona Briand Hooper, on October 18, 1958. They had three daughters: Rose-Anne, De-Anne and Cari-Anne. He was blessed to travel to many parts of the world and often took his family with him to experience new adventures and broaden their awareness of other cultures. Living an industrious and fulfilling life, he accomplished many self-directed goals. He taught Agricultural Economics at Utah State University at Logan. Then, he became an economic consultant for the global investment firm, Oppenheimer Industries, and served as Vice-President of World Airways. As a consultant, he traveled the world over, but his heart was in agriculture and he returned to the Central Valley in 1977. At Red Rock, he spent 7 years managing the 4,000 acres of farmland. Later, Jack and Mona designed, constructed, and managed portable grading stations serving the needs of tomato growers and packers all over California. They also spent their winters in the Westmorland area operating a weigh station for carrots, potatoes and onions. Jack owned and operated this station for 22 years. Jack and Mona were named Outstanding Individuals in Agriculture in 2001 by the Merced County Farm Bureau. In addition to his entrepreneurial endeavors, Jack was elected to five terms on the Merced Irrigation District Board from 1989 to 2009 where he co-initiated discussions which launched the Retail Electric System. He served as President from 1996 to 2005. His dedication and support of irrigation conservation efforts and his business acumen led to financial solvency and stability for the District. The agency honored him with a resolution for his innovative mind, noteworthy contributions, support for the farmers, and dedication to serving the community. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, his parents, and daughter Cari-Anne. He is survived by a brother, Dan Hooper, of Sacramento and his four children Denise, Deidra, Dan and Anna and their children; daughter Rose-Anne Gross (Harvey) of New Jersey, her three children Nicolette, Andréa, and Cristián Barajas; son-in-law Larry McClung, and his two children Ian and Logan McClung of Colorado; daughter De-Anne Hooper of California; cousins Wade Bingham and his wife Chris and their children Teri, Brian and Brenda; Margaret and Gus Talbot; Jim and Diane Jorgensen; Janice Jorgensen; and Joanne and Peter Mills and their children Erin, Kelly, and Colin. He is buried in Hills Ferry Cemetery in Newman next to four generations of family. Nebel og 2 gårde i Gjellerup by.
