1707 "Every morning he rose at three and wrapped in talith [prayer shawl], he sat in his room next to my chamber studying and chanting Talmud in the ususal sing-song" (Glückel von Hameln, 33)
Blev grebet af historierne om den falske messiasr Sabbatai Zevi,, og "My father-in-law, ho lived in Hameln, moved from there, leaving things standing in the house, just as they were, and went to Hildesheim. He sent us here, to Hamburg, two big barrels of linenware, in them were all kinds of food, peas, smoked meat, all sorts of dried fruit - that could keep without going bad. The good man thought they would leave from there to the Holy Land" (Glückel von Hameln, s. 46).
"My father-in-law came out to meet us. We saw him before we reached the town, like an angel, like the prophet Elijah, staff in hand, his snow-white beard reaching to his girdle, and glowing red cheeks" (Glückel von Hameln (s. 84).
"On 27-7-1624 Jobst Goldschmidt of Stadthagen wrote a letter to the sheriff (Landdrost) and councillors in Bückeburg to ask for the confiscation of the money of Abraham Levi which was in the hands of the sheriff of Pinneberg, because of his refusal to pay a fine of 100 Reichstalern for the annulment of the engagement between Abraham Goldschmidt and the daughter of Jacob Simon (Marwedel 1976, pp. 82-83, note 226). In 1635 ... there were two Jews with letters of protection: Jobst Goldschmidt and the Jew Jacob, who both married daughters of Nathan. ... In the same year we notice also, that the Jews already had some kind of synagogue in the town in those days, that is a room were they gathered for times of prayer and services ... in the house of Jobst Goldschmidt” (Wehling 1955, p. 1). Between 1637 and 1639 Jobst moved to Hameln (letter from Archives of Stadthagen to James Bennett, 10-7-1989; Groneman 1913, p.15)" (Schnelleken)

1708 "Evt. den Niels Aleksandersen, der ifølge Falsterlisten ejede jord i Tingsted (Tingsted S., Falster Nørre H.), men forholdet er helt usikkert. (Holbek & Brun) Hvide, Niels Aleksandersen (I3702)

1710 "f. o. 1595, død paa N. Ravnstrup i Ørum Sogn (Dronninglund H.) ca. 1680, begravet i Ørum Kirke.

Hr. B., der endnu synes at have levet 1366, ejede Vallø og angives at have været gift med Cæcilie, Datter af Marsken Hr. Erik Nielsen Gyldenstjerne og Datterdatter af den bekjendte Marsk Peder Vendelbo. (Thiset)." (DBL, 1. Udg.)
"Beseglede 1325 tilligemed Hr. Eskil Krage som Forlover Kongens Gjældsbrev til Hr. Ludvig Albertsen, og sigtedes ogsaa med Hr. Eskild for at have anstiftet Bisp Tyge af Børglums fængsling 1329, nævnes 1332 paa Grev Gerts side i Forliget med Kongen og Grev Johan." (Holbek & Brun)

He was a resident of Emery County for more than 30 years and grew to consider Ferron his home. After returning from Vietnam, he married Maureen Wright. The couple had three sons and later divorced.
Jerry spent over 24 years in the US Military serving faithfully in the Army during both Vietnam and Desert Storm. After returning from Vietnam, he continued to serve his country as a member of the 19th Special Forces and the 1457th Engineer Battalion. He was also an active member of Chapter 70 Special Forces and the American Legion. While in the military, he excelled in physical endurance and was recognized for his achievements. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, studying military history, watching military and western movies, and collecting things.
Jerry was extremely proud of his three sons, and had a soft spot in his heart for children, especially his grandkids. He was a generous man whose life was one of dedicated service and sacrifice.

1733 "FERRON-Maureen Carol was born on a beautiful Spring day, April 20, 1952, to Keith and Helen Rasmussen Wright in Price, Utah. She passed away on November 5, 2021. She was 69.
Her parents were ecstatic to have a cute little red-haired girl, and her funny personality charmed everyone. By the time she was five or six she could speak, of course, but she did it so fast and unintelligibly that no one but Kenny could understand her. She would rattle off whatever she had to say, and everyone would look at him to provide a translation.
Maureen was gregarious and made friends wherever she went. There used to be a row of chairs in the little store in Clawson where the old people sat and visited, and they adored her. One of them told Helen that when Maureen came into the store, she just lit it up. She was very active and would set out for school neatly dressed and coiffed, but come home with her dress ripped and her hair every which way. In high school she was active in drama, athletics, and cheerleading, but by that time she was able to return home from school in approximately the same condition in which she left.
In 1971 she met and married a handsome young soldier, Jerry Copatch, and they became the proud parents of three boys. Those boys were the joy of her life, and when they presented her with beautiful little granddaughters, her happiness knew no bounds.
Maureen spent most of her life living in Ferron and loved the beauty of her surroundings, especially the desert. She took many trips out on the desert with her family and would often direct her son, Kevin, to the best spots to find petroglyphs and cactus blooms.
Maureen was always a hard worker and kept an immaculate house and a beautiful garden. After she began to work outside the home, she had a love-hate relationship with her jobs. Her job at the care center required a lot of heavy work, and she didn’t like that, but she loved the residents and staff. After she became a dispatcher for the Emery County Sheriff’s Office, she hated the long hours and crazy shifts, but adored “her” deputies and even unofficially adopted one of them. She excelled at her job and earned honors for her work during the Crandall Canyon mine disaster.
While working at her full-time jobs, she also served as an EMT for the Ferron ambulance for many years. Maureen had many friends, with whom she had many crazy adventures, and no one can think of anyone who didn’t like her.
Maureen was extremely selfless and she always put the needs of others before her own. Family was always her primary concern and she was always ready to help when they needed her.
We are confident that Maureen has been reunited with her loving parents, her beautiful niece Kelly, and the many loved ones who passed on before her.
She is survived by her three sons, her grandchildren, and her siblings. They, and her many nieces, nephews, and friends, will miss her terribly, but they know that she is happy, and that she will always be near to share their joys, and to bring them comfort and direction.
Funeral service, Saturday, November 13, 2021, 11:00 a.m., Blue Hills Chapel (on the hill in Ferron, 35 W 200 N) where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment, Ferron City Cemetery. ..."

Simon Madsen havde mange venner i Løkken.

Simon Chr. Christensen Heilesen jordfæstes fra Tornby Kirke Fredag den 4. Novbr. kl. 2." (Nekrolog, avisudklip fra Marius Heilesens efterladte papirer, Tornby-Vidstrup sognearkiv)
